Pastel Workshops 2025

2025 -  Les will be Teaching the art of pastel using Pastels, the amazing Pan Pastel, plus Mixed Media sessions using watercolours. If you wish to get away from COPYING that photo and develop as a TRUE ARTIST, then attending a workshop with Les Darlow will help you learn simple techniques to create wonderful atmospheric skies, stunning water reflections and add drama and mood to your paintings, based on light, energy and movement. He will cover pastel techniques, composition, tonal values and balance plus underpainting techniques. He encourages a creative and loose approach and specialises in Impressionism.   1. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING - You will need to bring, Desktop easel, drawing board, masking tape, pencil, eraser, sketch book, old towel for the table, your lunch. I supply your pastels , but i have limited colours, I suggest if you have to bring them, also pastel pencils.. Very often I recommend Watercolours to or inks.
